I listen to a lot of internet radio. Usually while doing something else — cooking, or not concentrating on work. This is where I write down which stations turned out to be worth it.

Something with a pulse and no chorus. If there are words you end up listening to them, which defeats the point.

Added the mood thing above. It won't tell you a track, on purpose. It gives you a genre and a rough decade and then you have to go and find something, which is the part I actually like.

Streaming is very good at handing me more of what I already played. It's bad at the other thing — the record I'd never have gone looking for.
Radio still does that, because somebody else is choosing and they have no idea what I listened to yesterday.
